Just Joined Prudential Douglas Elliman

After being with a different office since 2002, I decided it was time for a Quantum Leap and made the change last week.  My decision wasn't tough... in fact my previous broker made it very simple. Several questions were running thru my mind like:

  • For the sum of $ that my broker makes off my production am I receiving any advantages to justify it?
  • Is my existing office atmosphere helping or hindering my attempts to stay upbeat in this changing market?  
  • Do I need to focus more on education and training to make myself more "recession proof" and what has my current broker done to ensure it?
  • Should I embark on looking around to see if there is a superior opportunity with other brokers?
  • What can I do differently in 2009?
